We’re looking for a high-potential financial accountant to join Forsyth Barnes and work directly with the Finance Director as the second-in-command within the finance function.
Forsyth Barnes is a fast-growing global talent partner with offices in Nottingham, London, Dubai and New York – and three Financial Times fastest-growing company recognitions.
This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure across all areas of finance, from core operations through to reporting, cash management, and commercial support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the finance function runs smoothly day-to-day, while also contributing to improving processes and supporting business performance.
The position is designed as a development role, with a clear pathway to take on increasing responsibility over time and grow into a more senior finance position.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function
- Ensuring accuracy and control across financial processes and outputs
- Contributing to reporting, analysis, and performance tracking
- Supporting cash flow management and working capital visibility
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes
What we’re looking for
- 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
- Working towards an accountancy accreditation (part qualified)
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Organised and comfortable working across multiple processes
- Keen to learn, take ownership, and develop within a growing business
Why join
- Direct exposure to the Finance Director
- Broad role across operational and commercial finance
- Clear progression into a more senior position
- Opportunity to help shape a scalable finance function
If you’re looking for a role where you can step up, take ownership, and build towards a future leadership position in finance, we’d love to hear from you.
