Job Title: Commercial / Industrial Electrician
Location: Manchester, UK
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per year (depending on experience) + overtime opportunities + van + iPhone
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Days Monday-Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial / Industrial Electrician to join our growing team in Manchester. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments
Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of electrical equipment
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
Ensuring compliance with current UK wiring regulations
Working independently or as part of a team on projects of varying sizes
Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (can be provided)
Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential):
IPAF / PASMA certification
Experience with control panels, motors, or PLC systems
Testing and inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)
ECS/CSCS card
