We are looking for an AI & Innovation Manager to lead the integration of AI, automation, and digital innovation across a growing medical communications agency. This role will focus on improving productivity, streamlining workflows, and driving internal AI strategy across scientific, editorial, operations, and commercial teams.

This is a highly visible role for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has a passion for transforming how teams work through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the agency’s internal AI and innovation strategy
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI and workflow automation
• Implement scalable tools and processes across medical writing, project management, operations, and client services
• Train and support teams in the effective use of AI technologies
• Establish AI governance, compliance, and best-practice frameworks
• Evaluate emerging AI platforms and recommend practical business applications
• Measure productivity improvements and operational impact from AI initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in AI implementation, innovation, operations, or digital transformation
• Background within medical communications, healthcare, pharma, or life sciences preferred
• Strong understanding of generative AI and workflow automation tools
• Ability to translate technical solutions into practical business outcomes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercially minded, proactive, and highly solutions-oriented

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Zapier, Make, Airtable, or similar platforms
• Experience optimizing workflows and implementing automation solutions
• Understanding of scientific/medical communications environments
