Resident Liaison Officer

Lenton Abbey, Nottingham (NG9)

Temporary Contract

Approx. 14 weeks, starting around 18 May

£190 to £210 per day, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to support a temporary retrofit heating project in Nottingham.

This is a site-based, resident-facing role where you will act as the key link between residents and the project delivery team during works in occupied homes.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the project
  • Building trust with tenants, leaseholders, and vulnerable residents
  • Explaining works, timelines, and access requirements clearly
  • Coordinating property access for surveys, installations, and follow-ups
  • Managing resident queries, concerns, and complaints
  • Keeping accurate records of resident interactions and outcomes
  • Supporting resident meetings, drop-ins, and engagement sessions
  • Working closely with site teams and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintaining inclusive communication and safeguarding awareness

Requirements

  • Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, or Customer Liaison Officer
  • Background in social housing, planned works, refurbishment, retrofit, or construction
  • Strong face-to-face communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident handling complaints and difficult conversations
  • Strong organisation and record-keeping ability
  • Comfortable working in occupied homes and managing access appointments
  • Available immediately or at short notice
  • Able to commute to Nottingham NG9 daily

Desirable

  • Experience in retrofit, decarbonisation, or heating projects
  • Experience working with vulnerable residents
  • Knowledge of heat pumps or energy efficiency projects
