This Intellectual Property Solicitor / Partner role in London offers a rare opportunity to join a dynamic, high-growth platform, working alongside a highly regarded litigation team handling complex, cross-border disputes. You will advise a diverse range of clients including media and entertainment businesses, record labels and rights holders, advertising and digital agencies, technology platforms, and brand-led international companies, with immediate access to both existing relationships and strong referral workstreams.

The Role
- Establish and lead a non-contentious IP and commercial practice within the London office
- Advise a broad client base across media, entertainment, digital, technology and brand-driven sectors
- Support clients on transactional IP matters including licensing, commercialisation and strategic agreements
- Work closely with content-driven businesses including creators, agencies, platforms and rights holders
- Leverage strong internal referral flows from an established London disputes team
- Collaborate with litigation partners on joined-up mandates including IP-heavy disputes and investigations
- Build and develop a sustainable client base within a highly collaborative, non-hierarchical, partner-led environment
- Play a key role in shaping the strategic growth of the London office
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in soft IP and commercial transactional work
- Existing following typically north of £600k or a clear trajectory toward this level
- Background from a leading City, international or US law firm
- Experience within entertainment, media, digital or technology sectors highly advantageous
- Strong track record of business development and client relationship growth
- Exposure to cross-border work or US-linked clients advantageous
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build and lead a practice
- Ability to collaborate effectively with contentious teams and leverage internal relationships
