An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly active and growing real estate investment and asset management platform focused on driving value across a UK retail portfolio. This role offers genuine exposure to hands-on asset management, working closely with senior decision-makers to execute business plans, drive leasing activity and deliver asset-level performance improvements across a diverse portfolio.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day asset management of a multi-asset retail portfolio, with a strong focus on income optimisation, leasing strategy and value creation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and increasingly taking ownership of asset-level business plan execution
- Driving leasing activity across the portfolio alongside external agents
- Managing rent reviews, lease renewals, regears and tenant negotiations
- Analysing tenant mix, retailer demand and market trends to support asset strategy
- Assisting with refurbishment, repositioning and alternative use initiatives
- Working closely with property managers and consultants to optimise operational performance
- Monitoring portfolio performance and supporting investment decision-making through financial analysis
- Preparing investment papers and investor reporting
Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years’ PQE experience within asset management, investment or leasing-focused real estate roles
- Strong understanding of the UK retail market and occupier dynamics
- Exposure to direct asset management initiatives and leasing activity
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Highly numerate with good financial skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
