Senior International Benefits Manager / Partner (6-Month FTC)

London (3 days in-office)

£80,000 – £100,000 (pro rata) or market-equivalent day rate

Start: July (flexible)

A leading Financial Services business is seeking a Senior International Benefits Manager / Partner to join on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to extend or convert to a permanent role (subject to budget approval).

Role Overview

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced benefits specialist to take ownership of international benefits and global mobility across a growing, complex global footprint.

With increasing scale and complexity across regions, this role has evolved from sitting within the HRBP remit to requiring dedicated leadership. You will play a key role in both creating immediate capacity within the HR team and driving a more consistent, strategic global benefits framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

Benefits Administration & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day benefits administration across – 15 international locations
  • Manage end-to-end processes including documentation, approvals, and system updates
  • Ensure compliance and smooth delivery across all benefits processes
  • Act as the central coordination point between HR, Legal, and external providers

Benefits Review & Optimisation

  • Assess current benefits offerings across global regions
  • Evaluate competitiveness and consistency across markets
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Introduce simple frameworks (e.g. RAG status tracking)
  • Support development of a scalable global benefits strategy

Global Mobility

  • Lead global mobility processes in partnership with Tax and Payroll
  • Support relocations and international moves
  • Ensure processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable

Broker & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with brokers and in-country providers
  • Assess current broker model effectiveness
  • Support potential transition to a more centralised model
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery across all vendors

Global Scope

You’ll support a diverse international footprint across:

  • North America (New York, Jersey City, Boston, Chicago, Miami)
  • Europe (London, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan)
  • Asia-Pacific (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Sydney)
  • Middle East (Dubai, Riyadh)

London headcount: – 270

About You

  • Strong experience within financial services (highly preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of international benefits and legislation
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end benefits renewal cycles
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Extensive vendor/broker management experience
  • Exposure to global mobility processes
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to operate at pace
