Miryco are currently partnering with a leading global consultancy to hire a Principal-level Actuary with a strong Pricing and Underwriting background.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial instincts and a genuine interest in growing client relationships and developing business.
The role will suit someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of consulting, technical delivery and business development — with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders while also leading high-impact engagements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex pricing and underwriting engagements for insurance clients
- Delivering strategic and technical consulting projects across the insurance market
- Supporting and driving business development activity, including identifying new opportunities and growing existing client relationships
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders
- Leading and mentoring teams across multiple concurrent projects
- Contributing to the growth and direction of the wider practice
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Strong actuarial consulting or advisory experience
- A background in Pricing and/or Underwriting
- Commercial Lines experience preferred, although we remain open to broader sector expertise
- Proven ability to balance technical delivery with commercial and client-facing responsibilities
- Strong relationship management and business development capabilities
- Leadership experience within consulting, advisory or insurer environments
