About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of fast track commercial Cat B fit-out projects, with values up to £5 million. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, sharp programme management, and a deep understanding of high-spec office fit-outs within compressed timelines.
You will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations on fast track commercial fit-out projects
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Drive programme adherence and proactively manage short timelines
- Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain quality control across all trades and finishes
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Monitor progress, report on milestones, and resolve site challenges quickly
- Oversee logistics, sequencing, and site coordination in live or occupied environments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering Cat B commercial fit-outs
- Strong track record on fast track projects up to £5 million
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and finishes
- Ability to manage multiple trades under tight deadlines
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications essential
- Experience working in occupied buildings is highly desirable
