Senior Actuary

I am hiring for a Senior Capital Actuary to join the Capital & Investment team, reporting to the Head of Capital Modelling. This is a high-impact role supporting the capital assessment and internal model development across syndicates.

The Role –

• Support and enhance the internal capital model, including development, parameterisation, and validation
• Deliver regulatory capital reporting (e.g. LCR, Standard Formula, LSM)
• Contribute to capital planning, business strategy, and reinsurance decisions
• Engage with stakeholders across underwriting, finance, risk, and regulators
• Support IMAP submissions and model governance processes
• Help embed capital modelling into business decision-making

The Candidate –

• Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent, or near qualified)
• Strong capital modelling experience, ideally within the Lloyd’s market
• Technically strong with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
• Commercially aware and adaptable in a dynamic environment

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £130,000
