We are partnering exclusively with a leading alternative asset manager seeking a commercially driven experienced funds lawyer to lead on capital formation.
This is a senior in-house funds legal role with genuine ownership. You will have end-to-end responsibility for major fundraises and be the firm’s senior legal counterpart throughout the fundraising lifecycle: owning fund documentation, negotiating side letters and bespoke investor arrangements, advising management directly on MFN, fund terms, and investor-specific risk and running closings.
What we’re looking for:
10+ years PQE in private funds or alternative assets law
Top-tier law firm training followed by in-house experience
Clear track record leading fund formation independently — PE, private credit, real assets
Commercially minded, execution-focused, confident in negotiation
Highly collaborative and low-ego
