Project Manager – IT Infrastructure Transformation

An organisation working within the defence industry is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support a major modernisation and transformation programme across its technology estate.
You’ll be responsible for driving delivery across infrastructure-focused projects including upgrades, migration activity, operational improvement and wider transformation initiatives.
The role requires someone who can bring strong delivery discipline into a technically complex environment while working closely with engineering, IT and operational stakeholders.
Key areas include:
- IT infrastructure delivery
- Project planning and governance
- Risk, dependency and stakeholder management
- Coordination of technical teams and suppliers
- Supporting wider transformation activity
The environment is fast-moving and evolving, so this suits someone comfortable balancing structure with ambiguity.
Strong background in:
- IT infrastructure project delivery
- Enterprise or complex technical environments
- Governance, reporting and planning
- Coordinating multi-disciplinary technical teams
Defence, engineering or regulated industry experience would be advantageous.
