Overview
An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment handling high-quality private client matters while developing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:
- Wills and Trusts
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
- Taking client instructions and providing clear, accurate legal advice
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Maintaining excellent client care and professional standards
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Participating in business development and networking activities
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 2–5+ years PQE in Private Client
- Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Client-focused and commercially aware
- STEP qualification or working towards STEP (desirable, not essential)
