A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint a Head of New Build Solicitor in Birmingham to lead and develop its residential property offering.
This is a standout opportunity for a Head of New Build Solicitor or Senior Associate looking to take the step up in Birmingham or the West Midlands, to take full ownership of a growing department within a flexible, supportive and forward-thinking firm.
As the Head of New Build in the Birmingham office, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the team, drive strategic growth and build strong relationships with developers in a role that offers genuine influence and long-term progression.
The Role
- Leading and developing the firm’s New Build department
- Managing a caseload of new build residential conveyancing matters
- Acting for developers on plot sales and related transactions
- Overseeing compliance and maintaining high technical standards
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Driving business development and building developer relationships
- Contributing to strategic planning and departmental growth
- Ensuring high levels of client care and service delivery
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with strong residential conveyancing experience
- Proven experience in new build property work
- Track record of team leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Strong technical ability including title checks and raising enquiries
- Experience in business development and growing client relationships
- Commercially aware with a strategic mindset
- Collaborative and aligned with a values-driven culture
- Ambitious and motivated by long-term career progression
