The Role

A Director-level appointment for an established Building Surveyor ready to lead and help grow the Building Surveying Department. This will be a new department and so it is essential you have a track record in growth strategy and implementation. You’ll have the backing of a well-respected consultancy, an existing client base, and the autonomy to shape a department.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Establishing and growing Selway Joyce’s Building Surveying offering from the ground up
  • Bringing and developing your own client relationships across our core sectors
  • Delivering a full BS service
  • Creating a strategy to grow the department across the building surveying field
  • Integrating with our QS and PM teams to offer fully coordinated consultancy services
  • Building and leading a team as the department grows
  • Contributing to firm strategy at senior leadership level
  • Full P&L ownership

What We’re Looking For

  • MRICS qualified with significant post-qualification experience
  • An established Director with a demonstrable client following – this role requires you to bring relationships.
  • The entrepreneurial mindset to build something, not just manage it
  • Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work and the clients they serve
