Non Executive Director

We are advising a highly respected, long‑established UK food group on the appointment of an independent Non‑Executive Director to join its Board during an important phase of growth and strategic development.

The Board values open, constructive debate and seeks a NED who combines commercial pragmatism with integrity, sound judgement and low ego.

Ideal Background

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

• Senior leadership experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or adjacent consumer sectors with exposure to businesses of scale (+£500m).
• Exposure to complex, multi‑site food businesses, with a broad customer base.
• Prior board‑level experience as a NED or Executive Director (or readiness to step into a first NED role)
• Strong understanding of financial controls, risk, governance and board dynamics
• A collaborative style and ability to influence at board and shareholder level
