Electrical Project Manager

London & M25 Region

£60,000-£80,000 + Bonus + Package

An established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of fast-track commercial office fit-out projects across London and the surrounding areas.

Operating within the design & build sector, the business delivers electrical building services projects for a strong portfolio of commercial clients, primarily located within the M25 region.

Role Overview

You will work closely with the senior management team to oversee the delivery of multiple electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

This is a flexible role, with time split between site visits, surveys, meetings, office locations, and home working depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and manage electrical building services projects within the commercial fit-out sector
  • Manage multiple small and large projects simultaneously
  • Update and manage design drawings as projects progress and evolve
  • Manage main contracts and smaller subcontract packages
  • Oversee subcontractors and installation quality on site
  • Work alongside the in-house procurement manager for material purchasing and procurement
  • Manage project budgets, P&L, and commercial performance
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures and documentation meet client requirements
  • Produce and update CVIs, RFIs, and O&M manuals
  • Liaise with client-side contract managers regarding commercial matters and project progress
  • Support tendering and estimating activities when required

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the UK M&E sector
  • Strong background delivering commercial office fit-out projects
  • Experience within design & build environments
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneously
  • Strong commercial and programme management capability

  • Strong leadership and organisational ability

  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced project environment
  • Good technical understanding of electrical building services systems

Package

  • £60,000-£80,000 salary, depending on experience
