Coordinator (Roadspace)

Location: Almondsbury, BS32 4AG

Permanent, Full Time

Join a collaborative team where your planning and coordination skills will directly support the safe and efficient delivery of roadside technology works. As a Coordinator, you will play a key role in organising traffic management and road space activities, ensuring works are delivered smoothly while maintaining strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate traffic management arrangements and road space applications for technology works
  • Take ownership of road space requirements, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely
  • Support the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance activities
  • Prepare and organise job packs to enable smooth operational delivery
  • Coordinate operational teams and subcontractors to meet productivity and quality targets
  • Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Use internal systems and software to manage work activities and reporting
  • Assist with depot checks, audits and general operational support
  • Contribute to a positive, proactive team environment and continuous improvement

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • Experience coordinating projects or operational activities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
  • Clear and confident communication skills when working with teams and stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail when preparing applications and documentation
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected to a wider team
  • Comfortable using systems and software such as Word and Excel
  • Understanding of traffic management or road space processes
  • Knowledge of reviewing and managing RAMS
  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel to sites when required
  • Positive, team focused attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving
