A leading boutique London practice is seeking an experienced non‑contentious private client solicitor to join its highly regarded team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who enjoys focusing on probate and estate administration while taking on meaningful managerial oversight of a close‑knit team.
Working closely with the Head of Department, you’ll gain exposure to an unusually varied and high‑quality caseload, with the autonomy to shape your practice and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
The Role
As an experienced non‑contentious private client solicitor, you will:
- Handle a broad range of matters focusing on probate and estate administration, wills, inheritance tax and estate planning.
- Provide managerial oversight of a close‑knit team, including trainees and paralegals.
- Work directly with clients, delivering clear, strategic advice and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with SRA principles, risk management processes and internal procedures.
- Contribute to business development, networking and the wider growth of the department.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced non‑contentious private client solicitor with:
- A strong interest in a non‑contentious private client practice.
- Excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage your own caseload focusing on probate and estate administration.
- Confidence supervising others and providing managerial oversight of a close‑knit team.
- At least 5 years’ PQE and a strong academic background (2:1 or above).
