Band 2 Clerical Officer – Full time

This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations: The Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women’s Hospital and The Walton Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Register new referrals and book appointments via IPM & E‑referral.
  • Answer telephone queries and provide customer service to patients and staff.
  • Perform general office tasks including data entry and administrative support.
  • Work closely with existing clerical staff and interact with patients on the telephone.

Qualifications

  • Good IT/keyboard skills, strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work well under pressure while handling high volumes of patients daily.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Experience in the NHS is preferable; full training will be provided.
