Dispute Resolution Solicitor — Position Overview

You will assist senior solicitors on a varied civil litigation caseload while also managing your own matters. The role offers excellent client exposure, high-quality work and strong opportunities for development within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities of the Dispute Resolution Solicitor

  • Assisting on complex civil litigation matters
  • Managing your own varied caseload
  • Handling disputes under a range of funding arrangements including private, CFA and LEI
  • Advising clients and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
  • Managing cases effectively from instruction through to resolution
  • Working collaboratively within a busy litigation team

Requirements of the Dispute Resolution Solicitor

  • Qualified Solicitor with 0–2 years’ PQE
  • Experience in general civil litigation
  • Experience working with private, CFA and LEI funding arrangements
  • Experience in at least one of the following: contentious probate, professional negligence or property disputes
  • Good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and client management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to professional development
