Job Responsibilities
The Head of Wound Innovation Institute (WII) Operations will provide senior professional services support to the Director of the Institute, reporting to the Faculty Director of Strategy and Operations. The role involves developing and implementing WII’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with University and Faculty priorities, and supporting the Institute’s long‑term operational growth strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning, governance, compliance and risk management.
- Building and sustaining internal and external relationships with Institute partners, including NHS Trusts, Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority, academic institutions and industry collaborators.
- Leading on long‑term operational growth and supporting substantive bids such as infrastructure and/or doctoral training.
- Co‑ordinating day‑to‑day working and ensuring integration within the wider Faculty.
