Salary: £33,280 – £35,360 per annum plus great benefits

We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full‑time role comes with a competitive salary and a brilliant benefits package.

Role Overview

The Store Manager will guide commercial and community strategies, lead the team, and ensure a fantastic customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Empower the team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
• Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
• Develop the team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
• Ensure the store is safe, legal, and operational.
• Manage and optimise commercial performance, recruit new team members, and manage HR processes.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding and developing a team in a busy, service‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to coach, motivate, and inspire.
• Resilience and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and support the team with store activities.
