We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full‑time role comes with a competitive salary and a brilliant benefits package.
Role Overview
The Store Manager will guide commercial and community strategies, lead the team, and ensure a fantastic customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Empower the team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
- Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
- Develop the team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
- Ensure the store is safe, legal, and operational.
- Manage and optimise commercial performance, recruit new team members, and manage HR processes.
Qualifications
- Experience guiding and developing a team in a busy, service‑focused environment.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to coach, motivate, and inspire.
- Resilience and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and support the team with store activities.
