Job Description:

The CNS is the patient’s key worker and will manage their own clinical caseload, providing highly specialist nursing input and continuity of care to patients at each stage of the pathway (diagnosis, treatment, surveillance and long‑term follow‑up).

The successful applicant will be an experienced cancer nurse with proven clinical skills and knowledge in the field of cancer, and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care to Breast Cancer patients. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills who can impart complex information to patients, relatives and carers, and who demonstrates an understanding of the physical and psychological challenges faced by this group. Adaptability to the evolving needs of our patients and willingness to participate in service development that reflects changing ways care can be delivered are also required.
