Corporate Solicitor (NQ-2) – Edinburgh
A well-established Scottish firm is looking to appoint a corporate Solicitor (NQ-2) to join itsteam in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Solicitor due to qualify in 2026, or a Solicitor with some corporate experience, to join a supportive team handling a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
The Role
You will support Senior Lawyers on a variety of transactions and advisory work, including:
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Corporate transactions
- Commercial contracts
- Company law advisory matters
- Due diligence and disclosure exercises
- Transaction completions and corporate administration
- Client communication and relationship management
The role will also involve legal research, drafting legal documentation and assisting with business development activity.
About You
Applicants should demonstrate:
- An interest in corporate and commercial law
- Exposure to corporate transactions during traineeship or post-qualification experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- A proactive and collaborative approach
