An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Legal Director to join a highly regarded commercial law firm in Leeds. Working within a Tier 1 ranked team, you will advise national and international clients on complex employment, HR and business immigration matters across a wide range of sectors while also supporting and developing junior lawyers.

Description

  • Advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non contentious employment matters
  • Advising private and listed companies with complex HR and workforce issues
  • Advising on industrial action, union negotiations and workforce restructuring matters
  • Managing employment litigation and senior executive exits
  • Advising clients within sectors including sport, retail, technology, manufacturing and healthcare
  • Providing strategic employment support on business critical projects and transactions
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with national and international businesses
  • Working on business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice

Profile

  • A solicitor with ideally 8 years PQE or above in employment law
  • Confident in advising employers on a broad range of employment and HR matters
  • Confident handling complex contentious and non contentious employment work
  • Experienced in supporting large corporate clients across multiple sectors
  • Commercially minded with strong client relationship management skills
  • Interested in working within a large regional law firm
  • Comfortable supervising and mentoring junior team members
  • An excellent communicator with strong technical and interpersonal skills

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £105,000 to £120,000 per annum.
  • Generous benefits package including a 5% pension contribution, 28 days of holiday leave, and private medical insurance.
  • Opportunity to earn a bonus of up to 35%
