We are currently recruiting for a Processing Site Supervisors to join our client on a major earthworks project. This is an opportunity to be part of a large-scale, technically challenging project within the groundworks and quarrying sector, working in a fast-paced and rewarding site environment.

This role offers the chance to step into a hands‑on supervisory position where you will play a key part in site performance, safety, and delivery. Ideally, candidates will be based locally, however accommodation can be provided if required.

The Role

As a Processing Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring plant and personnel are working safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. This is a practical role that may also involve hands‑on duties when needed. Please note: Crushing & Screening experience is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site operations, including plant and personnel
  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with HSE standards
  • Supervise crushing and screening operations to maximise output and efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance
  • Liaise with management and client representatives on site performance
  • Attend and contribute to site briefings and safety meetings
  • Monitor plant performance, carry out inspections, and report defectsEnsure all contractors comply with site procedures and RAMS
  • Complete daily reports, allocation sheets, and production records
  • Maintain accurate records, including inventory and site activity logs

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within crushing, screening, or similar environments
  • Strong understanding of plant operations and basic maintenance
  • Experience producing and working with RAMS
  • Background within construction, quarrying, or earthworks
  • Good awareness of commercial and contractual requirements

Requirements

  • Relevant CPCS/CSCS cards
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Excavator or loading shovel ticket (desirable)
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office / MS 365
  • Proactive and safety‑focused mindset
