Job Description

Join as one of the first dedicated engineers at a high‑growth London startup automating cybersecurity incident response. You will architect agentic AI systems that handle complex digital forensics, scale a multi‑tenant cloud platform on GCP, and build critical evaluations to measure AI performance against real‑world cyber threats in production.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Significant founding equity stake in a $4.2M pre‑seed company solving one of the most critical security challenges of the AI era.
  • Directly influence the architectural DNA of a production platform already serving customers and handling real‑world cyber attacks.
  • Work alongside world‑class founders and an expert team of incident responders to build automated forensics tools that will become ubiquitous.

What You Will Do

  • Design and deploy sophisticated agentic AI systems capable of executing multi‑step cybersecurity investigations and reasoning chains.
  • Architect and scale a cloud‑native SaaS platform using FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, and DuckDB to support real‑time enterprise collaboration.
  • Build and maintain robust evaluation frameworks to benchmark how AI systems perform against live, documented cyber incidents.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven track record of shipping and operating production software with strong Python skills in async patterns and task pipelines.
  • Hands‑on experience deploying LLMs at scale using frameworks like LangChain and RAG, moving beyond experimentation to production implementations.
  • Experienced with cloud‑native infrastructure including GCP/AWS, Terraform, and Docker, with a mindset for reliability, observability, and SOC2‑compliant operations.
