Overview

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute (CI) is a joint venture between Cancer Research UK and the University of Cambridge and is situated on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The Institute’s mission is to tackle the most difficult problems in cancer research and improve patient outcomes. As a Senior Research Grants Administrator at the Institute, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the Institute is able to fund an environment conducive to high‑quality world class science.

Responsibilities

As part of a team of seven Grants Administrators, you will be responsible for the proactive management of a portfolio of grants throughout the whole lifecycle from pre to post award, working closely with grant holders and their teams.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic person with experience in research grants management.
  • Familiar with a deadline‑driven nature of the work.
  • Ability to work independently and be an excellent team player.
  • Remain calm when working under pressure.
  • Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detail.
