Delivery Manager – Mobile Telecoms Mitie Telecoms UK-wide | Full Time Mitie Telecoms are looking for an experienced, proactive, detail-driven Delivery Manager, based from one of our offices in Cheltenham, Birmingham, Manchester, Doncaster or Glasgow. The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that all site work is carried out in an efficient manner whilst following all relevant Health & Safety regulations. Drive the project forward, document processes, update systems, solve problems, troubleshoot issues, and elevate issues to the Senior Project Manager for client escalation if required. You will work with the wider team to deliver telecommunications projects across the client base of Mitie Telecoms, focusing on delivering sites within client SLA’s and providing expert guidance and support to the wider team to ensure compliance and safe working practices at all times. This will include ensuring that all sites have all internal and external dependencies cleared prior to job scheduling and to support the Senior Project Manager at client meetings.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third parties to schedule installation dependencies (site access, materials, permits).
- Report progress to Project Manager and client, tracking KPIs and SLAs.
- Update Project Managers/Client Programme Managers on site escalations using Sitetracker and client tools.
- Ensure timely site delivery, providing daily updates to the client.
- Represent client interests and offer advice as needed.
- Submit handover documentation to customer specifications.
- Manage and train Project Coordinator.
- Understand project finance using Sitetracker, ensuring projects meet P&L targets.
- Support creation of H&S documentation and ensure field teams comply with safety standards.
- Achieve delivery performance objectives.
- Update client and internal data systems.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with project delivery experience in the Mobile Telecoms industry. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment, demonstrating proven problem‑solving skills and a solid understanding of Health & Safety. Strong people management abilities are crucial, including the capacity to inspire, lead, motivate, delegate tasks, and clearly explain ideas. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
