A highly regarded professional services organisation is seeking an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity within a progressive accountancy environment, offering strong exposure across both audit and accounts work, alongside structured development and hybrid flexibility. Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.

What you will be doing

• Working across a structured split of audit assignments plus accounts preparation work
• Supporting audit planning, fieldwork, and completion stages
• Preparing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and tax compliance tasks
• Supporting the review of junior team members’ work and assisting trainees
• Liaising with clients and assisting with day‑to‑day relationship management
• Ensuring compliance with current accounting and auditing standards

What we are looking for

• ACCA or ICAEW part-qualified or actively studying
• Experience in practice with exposure to both audit and accounts work
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Confident use of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• A proactive and professional approach with strong communication skills
