An exciting opportunity has arisen to learn new skills and gain knowledge in the ENT outpatients department at Leighton Hospital. This department is passionate about delivering high care standards to patients and relatives.

Some ENT experience would be beneficial, although not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills, ability to respond to different communication needs of patients in different settings.
• Ability to participate in meetings/discussions with senior staff.
• Ability to present factual information and deal with questions.
• Importance of quality of care and changes in practice.
• Ability to develop leadership skills.
• Research and audit skills.
• Ability to contribute to policy development.

Person Specification

• FULL NMC RN(Adult) Registration
• Experience of working in the NHS
• Experience of caring for ENT patients

Skills

• Able to communicate using a variety of communications methods

Willingness to Learn

• Ongoing learning
• Evidence of further learning since qualification

Qualifications

• FULL UK NMC Registration
• UK citizen or right to work in the UK
