Field Service Engineer – About the Role

A leading engineering manufacturer is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with around 3+ years of hands‑on experience who wants to develop their technical skills, travel internationally, and work on specialist industrial equipment supplied to customers worldwide.

You’ll begin with hands‑on training in the Test Department, learning how to test, fault‑find, set up and commission specialist process equipment before progressing into a global Field Service role.

• Testing and commissioning specialist engineering equipment
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Installation, servicing and repairs at customer sites
• Providing remote technical support
• Producing service reports and technical documentation
• Supporting customers across the UK and internationally
• Working closely with internal engineering teams
• Around 3+ years’ engineering experience
• Engineering qualification or relevant practical experience
• Electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
• Strong hands‑on approach and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with worldwide travel and overnight stays
• Good IT and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Salary: GBP32000 – GBP36000 per annum
