QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary

The QA/ QC Engineer reports to the General Manager and is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control systems in compliance with the company’s quality standards.

Main Job Scope

• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Ensure QA/QC plans are fully implemented and organized.
• Planning of QA/QC work schedules based on project programs.
• Be proactive and accept ownership on QA/QC matters at project sites.
• Develop and improve QA/QC plans for projects as required and in conjunction with the requirements of project teams and clients.
• Prepare and submit quality manual control/ checklist according to projects; requirements.
• Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and engineers with relation to technical discrepancies and project quality,
• Review and validate suppliers’ quality plans, design documents, material certificates, and inspection procedures.
• Travel and attend site and inspection meetings and participate in project sites’ internal and external audits.

Min Qualification & Field of Studies

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Junior Executives specializing in Engineering- Civil/ Construction/ Structural or equivalent.

Requirement

• Ability to carry out effective technical procedures and compile job specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess class 3 driving license.
