About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team. This role is responsible for driving technical delivery, developing engineering talent, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable and reliable solutions aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with sound technical judgment and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Manage project delivery timelines, resource planning, and technical execution across multiple initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product, design, operations, and business stakeholders to define priorities and deliver solutions.
  • Promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, security, documentation, and system reliability.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development of team members.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and encourage effective team collaboration and communication.
  • Identify and remove blockers that impact engineering productivity and delivery.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, architecture discussions, and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum diploma in relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Civil Engineering, Etc).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in any engineering related field (e.g. Site engineer, engineer, etc) in Construction sector, including at least 2 years in a leadership or people management role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, system architecture, and engineering operations in Construction Sector.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
