Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Type: Permanent

Location: Glasgow

Basic salary: up to £42,000

This is a permanent position based on a continental shift pattern: Week 1 – 2 days on, 2 off, 3 on; Week 2 – 2 days off, 2 on, 3 off; shifts run from 6am to 6pm.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties

• Completing PPM and reactive maintenance for the mechanical plant room
• Maintaining pumps and valves
• Plumbing maintenance
• Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Checks and compliance duties including water and tap temperatures
• Small works installation
• Emergency repairs
• All ad‑hoc maintenance tasks

Requirements

• A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial Grade Plumber
• Experience of plant room, AHU, FCU and similar systems
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client‑facing skills
• Valid driving licence
• Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
• Ability to pass a PVG check
