Lift Service & Lift Repair Call-Out Career Progression

Salary: 50,000 – 55,000 DOE Benefits: 500/week standby, highly paid overtime, all travel paid, NVQ Level 4 & management progression

Locations: Newport, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Caerphilly, Barry, Abergavenny, Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend, Bristol and the surrounding South Wales areas.

You’ll take ownership of your service route, carrying out maintenance, repairs, fault-finding, and call‑outs on passenger and goods lifts while ensuring high safety and service standards.

Lift Engineer Role

• Service, repair, and maintenance of passenger and goods lifts
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Breakdown response and call‑outs
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Accurate reporting of repairs and defects

Requirements of a Lift Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years lift industry experience
• Background in service, repair, or installation
• Full UK driving licence
• Within commuting distance of Newport
