The Opportunity

A boutique employment law specialist firm are looking to recruit a high-quality Employment Solicitor (newly qualified and above) to support an incoming senior hire who will be spearheading the growth of our Bristol office. This is a genuine ground‑floor opportunity to join a developing team, work closely with a recognised senior practitioner, and play a key role in establishing and growing the firm’s presence in the South West.

The Role

Depending on your level of qualification, you will be involved in:

• Advising employers and/or individuals across the full spectrum of employment law matters
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
• Supporting the senior hire on complex and high‑value matters
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, settlement agreements, and policies
• Handling Employment Tribunal claims from inception to resolution
• Contributing to business development initiatives and the growth of the Bristol office
• Building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service

About You

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or due to qualify), NQ+
• Solid grounding in employment law, gained on either the claimant or respondent side
• Strong drafting, technical and communication skills
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
• Enthusiastic about being part of a developing office and team
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
