Salary details: Grade 7 £28,598 – £31,537 (pay award pending)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37 hours per week

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is the first point of contact via telephone to respond to all referrals received into Children Services including Early Help and is a busy fast-paced team.

We are currently looking to recruit a Referral Information Officer to work in the early help hub within the MASH to assist Social Care and Early Help colleagues to identify appropriate support to families and provide advice and guidance as required. This includes being knowledgeable around thresholds and appropriate levels of intervention.

You will need to be a motivated practitioner with excellent communication skills who is able to manage the demands of working in a busy environment and have a sound understanding of thresholds and to be able to challenge appropriately to identify the appropriate resources within the Doncaster area.

You will also need to have the ability and willingness to develop a good understanding of safeguarding and levels of need with the guidance of senior colleagues and managers.

We are looking for a practitioner who will contribute to the development of the team through regular contact with partner agencies and attendance at locality meetings, as required, to maintain links with all services and share their knowledge with the team.
