Overview

We are seeking programme controls professionals to join our PMO service delivery teams and support the effective governance, performance management, and delivery of complex infrastructure programmes. The Programme Controls roles support the end‑to‑end management of programme performance across a range of disciplines, including integrated controls management, change and trend management, risk management, and reporting.

Working as part of an integrated PMO, these roles provide high‑quality controls insight, assurance, and information to enable effective decision‑making and successful delivery on major and mega infrastructure programmes.

Your role

  • Support integrated programme controls processes, ensuring alignment across schedule, cost, risk, change, and reporting.
  • Contribute to PMO service delivery, providing consistent, high‑quality controls outputs to programmes and stakeholders.
  • Support change and trend management, including identification, impact assessment, governance, and reporting.
  • Support risk management activities, including risk identification, qualitative and quantitative assessment, mitigation, and reporting.
  • Develop and produce clear, accurate, and timely programme performance reports for project, programme, and executive audiences.
  • Monitor programme performance, identifying trends, issues, and risks that may impact delivery objectives.
  • Interface with programme partners and supply chain organisations to gather, validate, and integrate controls‑related information.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams, planners, commercial teams, and programme leadership to ensure controls data reflects delivery reality.
  • Support governance, assurance activities, and continuous improvement of PMO controls practices.

About you

  • Experience working within programme or project controls environments on major or mega infrastructure programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Integrated programme controls.
    • Change and trend management.
    • Risk management.
    • Performance reporting and analysis.
    • Strong understanding of infrastructure programme delivery environments and PMO operating models.
    • Ability to analyse, interpret, and communicate complex performance data clearly and effectively.
    • Experience working in multi‑partner and supply‑chain environments.
    • Aviation transport, water, or energy sectors experience.
  • Roles available across different levels, suitable for developing through to experienced programme controls professionals.
  • London‑based roles, with the ability to travel to client sites a minimum of three days per week, typically just outside London.
  • Flexibility to support a portfolio of major and mega programmes as priorities evolve and PMO services scale.
