We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join a Children’s Residential Home supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment while leading and motivating a dedicated care team.
What the role involves:
- Leading shifts and supporting Residential Support Workers
- Supporting young people with daily routines, education and activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting safeguarding and care planning processes
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Deputising for management when required
- Creating a safe, supportive and child-centred environment
What we are looking for:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working within Children’s Residential Care
- Previous senior or leadership experience desirable
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Compassionate, resilient and supportive approach
- Full UK driving licence
