Overview

Citizens Advice Luton is a well‑respected local charity with more than 30 years of experience providing free, independent and impartial advice and casework services to local residents.

Role Summary

The role involves providing finance, benefit and debt advice to male people on probation in the Luton and Bedfordshire areas, helping them achieve stable and lawful income, reduce debt, and improve financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Give advice through telephone, email and face‑to‑face channels, including visits to probation offices in Luton and Bedfordshire.
• Receive and complete necessary training in debt advice if not already qualified.

Qualifications

• Training in debt advice, or willingness to undertake the required training.
• Prior advice knowledge is an advantage.

Working Hours

Full time – 37 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday).
