Ideal for candidates with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, AS9100, and production leadership experience within regulated engineering environments.

SALARY: £50,000 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Liverpool, Merseyside, North West England (L3)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm

Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor with previous experience in aerospace, precision engineering, or regulated manufacturing environments.

As a Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor you will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer delivery expectations are consistently achieved. The role involves leading skilled production teams, improving operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The successful Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor will work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to maintain robust process control, support lean manufacturing activities, and promote a positive safety-first culture throughout the organisation.

Duties

  • Leading Production Teams: Managing and supporting production staff to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Maintaining Compliance: Ensuring adherence to aerospace standards, customer requirements, and internal manufacturing procedures
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Supporting lean manufacturing, workflow optimisation, waste reduction, and operational efficiency initiativesMonitoring Performance: Tracking production output and providing regular operational updates to senior leadership teams
