Sales Executive – Financial Services UK Remote | Enterprise Sales | Data / Infrastructure
We’re working with a well‑established B2B software business that builds enterprise data and infrastructure technology used by financial services organisations to deliver real‑time data securely and at scale.
This is a specialist sales role suited to someone who has sold complex, platform-level technology into financial services (or similar regulated enterprise environments), and is comfortable with consultative sales cycles and high‑value deals.
The business develops real‑time data and infrastructure technology that sits behind the scenes, enabling organisations to move, manage and distribute live, business‑critical data across systems and applications. Their platform helps customers: Improve performance and scalability It’s used in regulated, data‑intensive environments where reliability, performance and security are critical – including trading platforms, market‑data distribution and other real‑time applications. The company has recently been acquired by a global software group with 180+ portfolio companies, providing strong long‑term backing and opportunities for career progression within the wider organisation.
This role has responsibility for the financial services sector, with typical clients including: Banks and sell‑side firms Asset managers and hedge funds Market‑data providers and fintechs The role involves engaging with senior commercial and technical stakeholders across complex enterprise environments.
Full 360° sales role, owning the sales process end‑to‑end Primary focus on new business, alongside account growth Typical deal sizes of £300k–£650k (over contract term) Consultative sales cycles, usually c.Strong internal support, including pre‑sales, existing pipeline and established CRM Fully remote within the UK, with travel expected for client meetings and industry events Joining a small, specialist sales team, reporting to an international Business Development Director
Have experience selling enterprise software or platforms (e.g. data, infrastructure, cloud, analytics, integration) Have sold into financial services or other regulated enterprise environments Have experience with multi‑stakeholder, consultative sales cycles Take a value‑led, problem‑solving approach to enterprise sales You don’t need to be hands‑on technically, but you do need a strong technical understanding and the ability to engage confidently with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
