Job SummaryPertemps is recruiting for one of our clients for an MIS analyst for a Logistics company to be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting operational data related to logistics activities such as inventory, transportation, warehousing, and order fulfilment. The role ensures accurate and timely management information to support decision-making, performance tracking, and continuous improvement in logistics operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Management & ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on logistics KPIsTrack and analyse:Order fulfilment & OTIF (On-Time-In-FullInventory accuracy, ageing, and stock movementInbound and outbound shipmentsTransport costs and utilisationMaintain dashboards using Excel / BI tools for management review
Operational SupportCoordinate with warehouse, transport, and planning teams to collect real-time operational dataMonitor adherence to SLAs, turnaround time (TAT), and service levelsIdentify variances, root causes, and report exceptions
Systems & Process ManagementWork on WMS (DLx, ProSku, AX) for data extraction and validationEnsure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systemsSupport system improvements, automation, and process optimisation initiatives
Analysis & Decision SupportAnalyse trends in logistics performance and costsProvide insights to improve:Delivery performanceInventory optimisationWarehouse productivitySupport leadership with ad-hoc reports and presentations
Compliance & DocumentationMaintain MIS documentation, SOPs, and reporting standardsSupport internal audits and compliance requirementsEnsure confidentiality and data integrity
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reportsOTIF delivery performanceInventory accuracy and stock varianceLogistics cost efficiencyData integrity and system compliance
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsAdvanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, xwzovoh VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)Working knowledge of:ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics / similar)WMS / TMSData analysis and reporting skillsPower BI / Tableau (preferred)
