Our client is a rapidly growing, global manufacturer in the petrochemicals and plastics industries. They are the premier supplier of products, services and solutions to the film and pipe extrusion, rotational molding, blow molding and injection molding markets. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead their strategic market entry and long-term growth in the British Isles and Northern Europe, with a primary focus on flexible packaging and polyethylene film markets.

The Regional Sales Manager will be pivotal in executing the company’s European growth strategy. The Regional Sales Manager will identify, develop and manage relationships with prospective and existing plastic processors, particularly in flexible packaging markets. This role requires a proactive approach to market entry, leveraging a technical sales process and value-based selling techniques.

The Regional Sales Manager will also play a strategic role by providing market insights, identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and adoption. Success in this role will require strong market knowledge, leadership in executing high-paced activities and the ability to develop and implement long-term strategies for market penetration and growth.

The role requires a high level of independence and the ability to build and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the region.

The role will involve 60% or greater travel and will be based at the candidate’s home office.

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 2-3 years of B2B sales or technical service experience within the polymer additive, resin, polyolefin film production or flexible packaging markets. Demonstrated success in new market entry, business development and strategic sales growth. Familiarity with the European polyethylene film producer market is essential.
