We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support the next phase of our growth.
This is a senior, commercially focused role responsible for developing new business opportunities across NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, and mental healthcare organisations.
You will play a key role in expanding our client base, building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the business.
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, and who is motivated by delivering tangible commercial outcomes.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across NHS Trusts and private healthcare organisations Proactively engage prospects using a structured approach, supported by an established and well-developed CRM database (HubSpot) Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract award Develop and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline to support accurate forecasting and long-term growth Contribute to the commercial strategy and positioning of Protects Plus within the healthcare sector Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to delivery
Proven experience in business development within healthcare or mental healthcare environments Strong track record of selling services into NHS Trusts and/or private healthcare organisations Commercially driven, with a focus on revenue growth, pipeline development, and long-term value creation Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing business Experience using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) to manage pipeline and activity
