Illuminate BD is a London-based business development consultancy that helps creative agencies grow through high-quality outbound lead generation. We are hiring a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to work directly alongside the founder on prospecting, outreach, relationship building, and client delivery. Duties Identify and pursue new business leads through research, targeted outreach, and sector insight. Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting relevant solutions. Take ownership of the outbound process from initial contact to arranging qualified one-to-one meetings. Work closely with the founder and team on messaging, prospecting strategy, and continuous improvement. Prepare clear outreach messages, reports, and insights for internal and client use. Support client strategy sessions with research and recommendations. Keep up to date with industry trends across the creative and marketing sectors to inform targeting and positioning. Qualifications~1–2 years’ experience in business development, outbound prospecting, sales, or lead generation (B2B preferred).~ Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.~ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior marketing and brand stakeholders.~ Highly organised, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple outreach streams.~ Self-motivated, proactive, and excited by working in a fast-moving, start-up-style environment.~ Comfortable analysing data and performance metrics to improve results.~ A qualification in business, marketing, or a related field is helpful but not essential — curiosity and drive matter more.
