Systems Integration Engineer
Hybrid 3 days a week Bristol Based
Defence & Simulation
We’re looking for a hands-on Systems Integration Engineer to support the rollout of advanced defence training and simulation systems across MOD sites in the UK.
This is not a desk-based role — you’ll be on-site, deploying and integrating complex systems in real operational environments, delivering capability where it truly matters.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for end-to-end system deployment and integration, including:
- Installing and configuring hardware, workstations, networks, servers, and OS builds
- Integrating applications and specialist simulation tech (VR, visualisation systems, peripherals)
- Supporting lab and site deployments across multiple UK locations
- Collaborating with IT & Network Engineers to ensure systems are secure, stable, and high-performing
- Producing clear, repeatable documentation for installations, configurations, and future upgrades
- Leading system handovers to customers with professionalism and clarity
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in systems integration, IT infrastructure, or deployment engineering
- Strong organisation and documentation skills
- Comfortable working on-site in operational environments with regular UK travel
- Exposure to gaming, simulation, VR, or immersive technologies is highly desirable
- Background in defence, MOD, military, or secure environments is advantageous
- SC clearance eligibility is essential
