Job Role: Senior – Associate Process Engineer

Location: UK (remote working available as long as willing to travel to an office when required)

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + benefits

About the Role:

We’re looking to speak with Senior to Associate level Process Engineers who are ready to take the next step in delivering innovative water and wastewater projects that make a real impact. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team working on sustainable infrastructure schemes across the UK, with flexible remote working available.

You’ll play a key role in leading multidisciplinary project teams, delivering high-quality process solutions, and supporting the development of junior engineers within the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading process design activities on single and multi-disciplinary water and wastewater projects
  • Providing technical leadership and driving best-practice engineering solutions
  • Delivering outline and detailed process designs for water and wastewater treatment schemes
  • Undertaking site visits, inspections, and process surveys of existing assets
  • Reviewing and checking technical designs and calculations produced by others
  • Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Mentoring, supporting, and line managing developing engineers
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with industry standards, regulations, and client expectations

About you:

  • Significant experience within process engineering, ideally in the water and wastewater sector
  • Strong understanding of treatment processes, standards, and industry regulations
  • Experience delivering both outline and detailed process design work
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Degree qualified (BEng/MEng) in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or working towards chartership

Desirable experience includes:

  • ATEX/DSEAR and HAZOP experience
  • CAD/BIM knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
